About Life Health & Wellness Center
Life Health & Wellness Center has helped thousands of people of all ages overcome mental health challenges and improve their quality of life since 2011. With offices in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, our experienced team of psychiatrists, therapists, and technicians provide a full range of services including neurofeedback brainwave training, nutritional therapy, psychotherapy, and psychiatric services. Our goal and priority is to find and correct the root cause of our clients' mental health issues so that they can benefit from a long-term and significant improvement in their symptoms. We always try to find natural and holistic ways to help our clients and we only prescribe medication as a rare and last resort.
We provide services in both English and Spanish, and we have extensive experience helping people cope with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, child/adolescent behavioral problems, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning disabilities, domestic violence, drug abuse, eating disorders, internet addiction, oppositional defiance, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, trauma and PTSD. We are also very experienced at helping people navigate and resolve parenting, relationship, and family issues and conflicts. Life Health & Wellness Center is an approved mental health service provider for the State of Nevada and the State Juvenile Justice Division.

Dr. Nabil Jouni, MD
Psychiatrist & Medical Supervisor
Dr. Nabil Jouni is a psychiatrist and is the medical supervisor for Life Health & Wellness Center's psychiatric, psychotherapy, and neurofeedback services. He has been practicing psychiatry for over 20 years and previously has served as the Medical Director at Spring Mountain Treatment Center, Chief of Staff at Montevista Hospital, Director of Adolescent Services at Desert Willow State Hospital, and Medical Director and Senior Psychiatrist at Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services. Dr. Jouni received his medical degree from the University of Madrid and is fluent in English Spanish, French, and Arabic.
Dr. Simon Farrow, MD
Dr. Simon Farrow is a diligent and empathetic neurologist. Dr. Farrow earned his medical degree from the prestigious University of Oxford in England and completed his residency in neurology at the University of Chicago in Illinois. He also completed his fellowship in neurology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Farrow is double certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. His medical career is full of many remarkable contributions to medicine in the form of various research studies and publications that have earned him several honors and recognitions. Dr. Farrow is always transparent with his patients about their health and treatment options. He insists on his patients being well-informed decision makers on issues affecting their health and well-being. He takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to consistently ensure correct diagnoses, and he makes every effort to provide them with the best comprehensive care available. Dr. Farrow is fluent in English and French.
Ron Christensen, LMFT
Psychotherapist & Clinical Director
Ron Christensen MS LMFT is a therapist and the clinical director here at Life Health & Wellness Center. Ron has been practicing as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the Las Vegas area since 1996. He has been helping couples, families and individuals find solutions to their problems for over 20 years. Ron specializes in child or adolescent behavioral problems, relationship issues and addictions and has experience in treating a wide range of mental health challenges. Ron is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Asher Adelman, MBA, FNTP
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner & CEO
Asher Adelman is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner here at Life Health & Wellness Center. Asher's focus is on utilizing nutritional protocols and lifestyle changes to help people heal their brains and overcome mental health problems and chronic stress. He has been managing the business operations of Life Health & Wellness Center since 2016. Asher received his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Irvine and his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Roberto Suarez, BCN
Roberto Suarez oversees Life's neurofeedback team. Roberto is board certified in neurofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) and has seven years experience working as a neurofeedback practitioner in the Las Vegas area. Roberto is also a BCIA-approved mentor for people who are training to become neurofeedback practitioners. Roberto, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, received his psychology degree from the University of Havana in Cuba and is currently studying for his Doctor in Psychology (PsyD) degree in clinical psychology.
Mari Beth Bindues, LMFT

Mari Beth Bindues is a psychotherapist at Life Health and Wellness Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mari Beth is a native of Las Vegas and was raised in Henderson, Nevada. Mari Beth obtained her master's degree in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy in 2009 and has been working with adolescents, individuals, and families ever since. Mari Beth's approach to therapy is to meet her clients where they are in their current life path, providing a safe and comfortable environment free of judgement. Mari Beth understands that life is often challenging and unpredictable. Talking through challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief/loss, self-esteem, and personal issues is a positive step toward healing and learning you are not alone.
Yesenia Delgado, LMFT-I
Marriage & Family Therapist-I
Yesenia Delgado earned her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Albizu University in Miami, Florida. She has experience and enjoys working with young children, teens and adults. Yesenia, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, has training in Mindfulness-based (MBCT) PCIT informed skills (Parent Child Interactive Therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, trauma informed therapy and utilizes these approaches and skills in her work as needed. Yesenia has also successfully completed the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Yesenia's practicum experience working at a LGBTQI Trauma site in Florida has prepared her to work with patients from all diverse backgrounds and cultures. Yesenia understands the importance of having an open mind and strives to build an empathetic relationship with each person she sees.
Beleli Dirirssa, MS LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Beleli Dirirssa MS LCPC is a therapist here at Life Health & Wellness Center. Beleli has been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor since 2017. She has been helping children and their families, adolescents, and adults with different mental health concerns. In the past, Beleli has worked in the CCSD schooling environment and is passionate towards helping kids and adolescents through mental health and behavioral issues. Beleli is originally from East Africa, has a multicultural background, and speaks the languages English and Amharic.
Arlene Kauffman, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Arlene Kauffman is a psychotherapist at Life Health and Wellness Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. She provides counseling to individuals, couples, and families using primarily Experiential, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her approach can be eccentric, direct, and playful. As such, she has been blessed to be told by numerous clients how no one has ever listened or really heard them, until now. From her pleasant welcoming office, to her genuine affable manner, Arlene collaboratively works with and where her clients are. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Anger Management Counselor, continuing to educate herself, hone her craft, and collect various tools to help her many diverse clients. Though Mondays may pose as a trial, Arlene looks forward to each week as an opportunity to help others heal, recognize strength and abilities, and acknowledge that we are all a work in progress, that we are enough, and we can create our own happily ever after. Arlene is married to her very own "Indiana Jones" for 32 years and counting, bringing about and guiding three incomparable young men, comfortable enough to play pranks on her and volunteer her talent for baking on a semi-regular basis. So, if you don’t find her in the kitchen on her day off, she is either tending to her growing garden, jewelry making, or upcycling treasures she's either found at garage sales or thrift stores.
Lorena Munoz, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Lorena Munoz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with well-rounded experience, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Lorena's clinical experience involves her working with school aged children, adolescents, adults, elders, and families dealing with severe emotional disturbances and mental illnesses. Lorena specializes in working with child welfare-involved families who have experienced trauma as well as with individuals with chronic psychiatric disorders and individuals dealing with acculturation adjustment problems. As a bicultural individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish, Lorena is passionate about providing culturally competent services and continues growing professionally to provide competent services to her clients.
Kristen Peterson, LMFT-I
Marriage & Family Therapist-I
Kristen Peterson is a US Navy Veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom after 9/11. She graduated with distinction from Capella University with her Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017 after graduating with honors with her Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. Kristen was able to become certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in 2018 and specializes in Borderline Personality Disorder. She also has success with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Kristen works with children as young as 5 years old and with adults and adolescents as well.
Odaimy Casuso Aguila, QMHA
Odaimy is a neurofeedback technician at Life Health and Wellness Center. She has seven years of experience working as a neurofeedback technician helping people with mental health and brain issues. Odaimy also has three years of experience working with clients on basic skills training and psychosocial rehabilitation services. She was born in Cuba and received her Dentist degree from medical school in Santa Clara. Odaimy also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Sacred of Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Odaimy likes to have fun and spend time with her friends and family.
Enrique Peon has been a neurofeedback technician at Life Health and Wellness Center since May 2018. Enrique is a hard worker with 5 years experience working as a Neurofeedback technician in Las Vegas. He is dedicated to helping people of all ages to improve general brain health, treating anxiety, depression, memory loss, ADHD, sleep, among other diseases. He likes to practice sports and spend time with his son and family.
Mideysi Martinez has worked as a neurofeedback technician at Life Health and Wellness Center for 5 years. She has experience working with people of all ages, from young children to adults and seniors. Her focus is always to help our clients nurture and strengthen their brains through training, to overcome life's challenges so that they can improve their level of functioning, relationships, and quality of life. She has worked with people with a variety of problems of brain dysreglation, including behavioral disorders, attention deficit, the spectrum of anxiety-depression, sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, emotional disturbances. Mideysi is certified by the BCIA as a neurofeedback prractitioner. She received an associate degree in nursing from the EDP University of Puerto Rico and also a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Havana, Cuba.
Yria Torres has been a neurofeedback technician at Life Health and Wellness Center since June 2019. Yria has two years of experience working as a neurofeedback technician in Las Vegas. She is dedicated to helping people improve overall brain health, treating anxiety, depression, and other illnesses. Yria also has four years of experience working as a caregiver for the elderly and with clients in basic skills training. She likes to spend time with family and friends.
Billing and Administration
Jona Young has been with Life Health and Wellness Center since 2016. She is responsible for processing insurance claims and handling a variety of other administration duties. Jona was born in the Philippines, but grew up in the Island of Guam where she learned and kept the Hafa Adai spirit. She has been working in the medical field for the past 15 years and has loved every moment of her experiences. Prior to working at Life Health and Wellness Center and experiencing the behavioral health part of the medical field, she managed home health agencies with duties that ranged from front desk to human resources to general administration. When not at work, Jona loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Karla Perez joined the Life Health and Wellness Center team in 2019. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Karla has worked in the medical field for about 20 years. Part of her background has been in Human Resources. She has worked with doctors that practice obstetrics and gynecology as well as general surgery. Outside the office Karla likes to swim and to spend as much time as possible with her family.
Lily Del Valle
Lily is the Administrative Assistant here at Life Health and Wellness Center. Lily is an ambitious, outgoing individual and she has been working here for a year. She loves to see our client each day and greet them. Lily, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, has been working in the medical field for over 7 years and plans on continuing to work in this field. Lily loves to bake and spend time with her family.
