Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a way of treating people who are suffering from mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, or OCD as well as people who are coping with difficult life situations such as divorce, parenting challenges, trauma, the death of a loved one, or a serious medical illness.
Psychotherapy is also known as talk therapy, and it consists of the client speaking with a therapist in a safe setting and learning healthy coping skills, how to process and deal with one's feelings, mood, thoughts, and behavior, and how to respond to challenging or difficult situations. Psychotherapy can be conducted in an individual, couple, family, or group setting.

Therapy sessions are usually an hour long and are usually done on a weekly basis. Psychotherapy can be quite effective at helping people improve their symptoms and their ability to function, especially in conjunction with complementary treatments such as neurofeedback and nutritional therapy.
